children aged from 6 weeks to 2 years
Lead Nursery Educator
The Nursery Room caters for children from 6 weeks to 2 years of age. In this age group, our Educators focus on providing children with the experience of belonging – knowing where and with whom they belong.
We focus on providing children with a sense of security as they begin their early years in the early childhood setting. Belonging acknowledges children’s interdependence with others and the basis of relationships in defining identities.
Our Educators strive to create loving and nurturing bonds with all children in their care and to ensure individual needs and routines are met. We take the time to understand each child’s home routine such as sleep and bottle times, and incorporate these in to our programs to ensure a smooth transition from home to our care.
We understand that children learn and develop through play. Our Educators provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences to strengthen and extend on all children’s skills and interests.
We believe communication is the most important tool to develop and maintain strong and personalised relationships between our Educators and families. We use a wide range of methods to communicate within the room, such as conversations, telephone calls and our online child portfolio program, Story Park.

We also record and display all information relating to sleep, feeding and toileting, so that parents can be accurately informed of their child’s routine for the day.
We would love to show you through our Nursery, introduce you to our team and discuss how we can work with you to meet the needs of you and your child.
